What is Brilliant Rewards?

Brilliant Rewards enables you to get cashback every time you shop at participating brands.


How does it work?

Simply visit the Brilliant Rewards website, sign up for a free account and shop as normal at participating brands.

Within the Brilliant Rewards website, you'll see all available cashback offers. Some will be automatically activated and for others, you'll need to click on the "Activate" button.

That's all you need to do! Then, shop as normal in the participating retailers and we'll add cashback into your Brilliant Rewards account.

You can then withdraw your cashback to your bank account.


Why has my account been suspended?

If your account has been suspended, please get in touch with us, as this could be due to a variety of reasons.


I can't login to my account.

If you've forgotten your password, please reset it by clicking on the "Lost Password" link.

If you're having problems logging into your account, please fully close the Brilliant Rewards website and re-open.

If this still doesn't help, try restarting your computer.

Can I use Brilliant Rewards on multiple devices?

Yes, you can certainly login to your Brilliant Rewards account on multiple devices.


Can I use my cashback balance to spend in-store?

Any cashback that you earn will be stored within your Brilliant Rewards account, until you request a withdrawal. When you do, we'll ask for your bank details and transfer the money across to you.

At the moment, this is the only way that you can receive your cashback, but we're working on adding more options.

Can I join if I'm not a UK resident?

At the moment, only residents of the UK can use Brilliant Rewards. We're hoping to make it available to residents from other countries in the near future.


Can I join if I'm under 18 years old?

Due to EU regulations, you need to be at least 18 years old to use Brilliant Rewards.


I think someone may have used my account - what do I do?

Please contact us straight away.


How do I close my account?

If you wish to close your Brilliant Rewards account, please contact us.


How do I log out?

Within the Brilliant Rewards website, visit your account area.

Below your name, you'll see a link to sign out.


How do I update my information?

Simply visit your account area and amend your details.

What happens if I return some/all of my items and get a refund?

When you return your item(s) for a refund, you will receive a new transaction showing a negative amount, for the amount that was refunded.


I don't recognise a transaction in my account - what do I do?

If something doesn't look quite right, please contact us.


My transaction hasn't been added to my account - what do I do?

Most transactions will track within 4 days, however please do give us up to 7 days, if it hasn't shown up by then.

If cashback for your transaction has still not been added to your account by this time, please contact us.


How long does it take for a transaction to appear in my account?

My cashback is pending - when will it become ready?

As soon as we receive payment from the retailer, we'll let you know. When this happens, you can then withdraw the cashback (so long as you have met the minimum required amount to withdraw).


My transaction has been declined - what do I do?

Usually, cashback is declined due to the transaction being cancelled/not authorised at the point of sale.

If you think cashback has been declined in error, please contact us.


The cashback amount is incorrect - what do I do?

The cashback amount is always based on a percentage of your transaction amount. Please check the Cashback tab to see what the current rate of cashback is.

If you still feel that the amount is incorrect, please contact us.


I forgot to activate a cashback deal before shopping - can I still get cashback?

Afraid not! We only receive transaction data after you've clicked through to the brand via a link on our website.

If you shop before clicking on our specific link, we have no way of obtaining the transaction details, so no cashback will be paid.


Do I need to send you my receipts to get cashback?

No. When you purchase at a participating brand, we'll automatically be informed of your transaction. So, there's nothing that you need to do!


What do I need to do after I've made my purchase at a retailer?

Sit back and relax. We automatically receive the transaction details and will add the cashback to your account!


Do I need to do anything at the till, when I pay?

Nope! Simply pay with your card as usual. We'll then automatically receive the transaction details and will add cashback to your account!


Do I need to tell store staff that I want cashback?

As Brilliant Rewards is run by Brilliant Rewards and we pay your cashback, the store staff won't be able to help with any cashback queries.

When you make a purchase, you don't need to tell store staff anything at all - just spend as normal and we'll automatically add cashback into your account.


Is cashback guaranteed?

Due to the amount of parties involved, we can never guarantee cashback. However, as long as you follow the terms and conditions for the cashback offer, you should have no problems.

Remember, cashback is a form of commission that is due to Brilliant Rewards. Once we receive it, we'll pass it on to you as cashback. If we don't receive the commission, we're unable to pass that on to you.


What do the different cashback statuses mean?

When you've made a purchase, your cashback is tracked into your account. It can then go through several stages:

  • Pending - We've tracked your transaction and the retailer will now verify that no refunds have been made.
  • Refunds follow the same process as a regular transaction - starting at pending.
  • Declined - The retailer has decided to decline your cashback.
  • Ready - Brilliant Rewards has received the commission due from the retailer and you're now able to withdraw these funds from your account (dependant on having more than the minimum threshold required in your account to make a withdrawal).
  • Withdrawn - Your cashback for this transaction has been paid to you via the withdrawal method that you selected. Please allow up to 5 working days for these funds to appear in your account.


How much cashback will I get?

Please visit the Offers area within Brilliant Rewards to view the current cashback offered for shopping with each retailer. Note that these rates can change regularly, so please check before you purchase.


How do you know when I've shopped?

After you've completed your purchase, we receive data automatically behind the scenes. We then automatically add cashback into your Brilliant Rewards account.


Does my cashback expire?

Cashback doesn't expire, so you can leave your money in your Brilliant Rewards account for as long as you like.

However, if you don't login to your Brilliant Rewards account within a 12 month period, we may remove the funds from your account for security reasons. If this happens, don't worry! Simply contact us and we'll add the funds back into your account.

Why can't I earn cashback at all retailers?

In order for a retailer to participate in Brilliant Rewards and offer cashback to customers, they first need to join our programme.

We're constantly working hard to ensure more and more retailers are added. Please check back regularly for the current list of offers.


Why has a cashback offer disappeared?

Some cashback offers run for a period of time and this is clearly displayed on the offer. As retailers have control of when they run offers, please check back regularly to view what's on offer.


Why has a retailer decreased/increased their cashback rate?

Retailers are in full control of the cashback that is offered. Sometimes, they may decide to increase or reduce their cashback rates for various reasons. Please check back regularly to view what's on offer.


How do I activate an offer?

Whilst many cashback offers are automatically activated in your account, for some you may need to click on an "Activate" button, on the offer.

Clicking "Activate" will ensure that the offer is added to your account and you'll receive cashback when you spend.


How often do you add new offers?

We're constantly working hard to ensure more and more retailers are added.

Please check back regularly for the current list of offers.

How do I withdraw my cashback?

When you've reached the minimum withdrawal threshold of £5 and your cashback transactions are in a "Ready" state, simply visit your account. From there, follow the link to make a withdrawal of your cashback balance.

At the moment, we pay withdrawal requests via BACS only - a bank transfer to an account of your choice.


How can I cancel a withdrawal request?

Once you've made a withdrawal request, it is then immediately sent to be processed. If you believe you may have made an error, please contact us immediately.

We cannot guarantee that we'll be able to stop the withdrawal request from being processed.


Why can't I withdraw my cashback?

Your cashback balance can be withdrawn when you've reached over £5 in "Ready" cashback.

"Ready" cashback means that Brilliant Rewards has received the commission due from the retailer and you're now able to withdraw these funds from your account.


Why haven't I received the money in my bank account?

It can take up to 5 working days for the funds to arrive in your bank account. If you still haven't received your funds after this period, please contact us.


How can I change my bank details?

To change your bank details, simply login to your Brilliant Rewards account and follow the links to make a withdrawal. You'll be able to manage your bank account details from this area.


Can I withdraw part of my "Ready" cashback balance?

Unfortunately we are unable to split payments at the moment due to technical restraints. However, this is something we hope to offer in the near future.
